New Focus on Figurative

One of my favorite ways to reinvigorate my art....

I never cease to be intrigued by the human figure. I often return to drawing the figure in some manner. Recently I found myself rough sketching the head in ink. I have no clue where the process may lead, but I always seem to come away with a new perspective and the drawings get better and better.

I stumbled on a site addressing the human eye. The iris and retina are mesmerizing.
